The image shows a view from above of a small waterfall between rocky boulders, with a mountainous backdrop and trees in the distance. The artist used soft brushstrokes resembling pencil or charcoal on brown paper to depict details in the rocks and water, with lighter rendering for the trees and mountains. The color palette consists of earth tones and subtle grays and whites.
