This is a drawing titled "Les Bons Bourgeois". It depicts a stout man in formal attire, wearing a top hat and holding a magnifying glass. He stands on a cobblestone pavement with a cityscape background. Two elegantly dressed figures are walking away in the background. The artwork is rendered in shades of gray with crosshatching and line work, similar to lithographic prints. Its style and satirical theme are reminiscent of works by Honoré Daumier.
