This is a drawing of a person in a voluminous dress being watched by figures in top hats. The scene depicts an exaggeratedly large skirt occupying much of the visual space. The skirt is detailed with layered ruffles, and the figures in the background are depicted in muted tones with prominent top hats. The drawing is done in a style typical of 19th-century satire, capturing the social scenes and trends of that era with a humorous undertone.
