The image shows two men seated within what appears to be the interior of a lavishly decorated space, likely a train or a private chamber, with a upholstered, patterned wall behind them. Both men are depicted from the waist up and are leaning to the side as if asleep, with their heads tilted downward. The man on the left has thinning hair on top and more pronounced hair at the sides, and is wearing a dark suit jacket, waistcoat, and shirt. The man on the right also has receding hair and a large moustache, and is dressed similarly in a suit with a waistcoat and shirt. There is a hat placed on the ledge above both men. The intricate pattern on the seat back behind them, as well as the textured shading, suggests luxury and comfort.
