The image depicts a streetscape from a ground-level perspective. There is a broad, tree-lined avenue leading into the distance. Trees line both sides of the street. The left side is dominated by broad tree trunks with intricate branches overhead. The right side also has tall trees with interlacing twigs and leaves. Figures and a horse-drawn cart can be seen among the trees, adding depth to the scene. The artwork is created in a detailed etching style using fine lines for texture. The color scheme is monochrome with sepia tones.
