This is a painting of an interior wall with a fireplace. Above the fireplace are two symmetrical floral arrangements, framed on either side by abstract floral patterns in green and red against a cream background. The floral designs extend across the wall and are incorporated into a decorative border near the ceiling and around the furnishings. The fireplace has a grey mantel and brick interior housing andiron holders. To the right, there is a simple door painted in a similar grey tone, consistent with the mantel, with black hinges and door hardware. The style is characterized by a naive folk-art aesthetic with an emphasis on decorative design.
