The man has a mustache and a thick beard, with full hair covering the top and back of his head. The portrait is composed entirely of handwritten text forming the facial features and clothing details. The man appears to be wearing a coat, suggested by a change in the text density and angle at the lower portion of the image. There are no visible pieces of jewelry or objects being held. The background is a plain, light beige color.
