The image features a large metal fireplace andiron with a prominent spherical finial on top, supported by a tall pillar and a curved, three-pronged base. The structure is primarily in tones of metallic golds and browns. To the left of the main object is a smaller sketch of the andiron, presented in a line drawing with dimensions. The main object is positioned centrally, with the base curving out towards the edges of the image, while the sketch and technical drawing are set in the upper left corner.
