This is a painting of two pheasants among trees. The scene is enclosed within an irregular circular frame. Inside, two intricately detailed pheasants face each other, their tails fanning out. They are set against a backdrop of stylized trees with dark canopies, and a centrally placed mountain or hill in the distance. The palette consists of muted blues, purples, and earthy tones. In the lower right, a smaller section is depicted. This is in the style of Art Nouveau, characterized by fluid lines and nature-inspired motifs.
