The image depicts a castle with cylindrical towers at the center and slightly left. The castle has battlements with a flag on top. Close to the castle are sailing ships with tall masts grounded due to low tide. More ships line the shore to the right. The castle is made of stone. The color scheme is sepia, giving an antique look. The sky is light and overcast, blending with distant hills. A rocky bank leads to the water where a lone figure is visible.
