The painting depicts a pastoral scene with horsemen, foliage, two figures beside a horse, a small building, and decorative botanical patterns, featuring pink flowers and white feather-like swirls on a warm beige background. The color palette consists of greens, pinks, and yellows, reminiscent of French scenic wallpaper from the late 18th to early 19th century.
