The image shows a wooded area with a riverbank in the foreground. A large tree with visible roots and sparse leaves is on the right third of the frame. In the middle ground, a group of leafless trees extends diagonally, leading to a man standing among them. The horizon is high in the composition with barren hill slopes rising up to an overcast sky. The color palette is sepia, giving a vintage feel. The textures and details in the landscape are highlighted against the subdued background. The image is a photograph.
