The image shows a landscape viewed from a slightly elevated perspective. The horizon is in the upper third with a row of trees and a light sky. To the right, a farmer with oxen is visible on a ridge, leading the eye towards the horizon. Closest to us are detailed foliage and a large tree with intricate branches in the central area. The depiction shows intricate brushstrokes or engraving capturing the texture of leaves and terrain. The color palette is monochromatic with shades of gray and soft black, emphasizing the texture and depth of the landscape.
