The image shows a man from the waist up, leaning diagonally against a large wooden cross. He is in a bent position, with his head slightly tilted to one side. His facial features are rugged and expressive, with a beard and a weary expression. His head is covered by a hood that is part of his long robe, which has a simple design and is tied at the waist with a cord. The robe covers his whole body, with the loose sleeves revealing his hands resting against the cross. To the side, there is a skull on a rock shelf. In the background, there are rocks and foliage.
