The image depicts a landscape viewed from an elevated perspective. The horizon is high in the image, with a sky and scattered clouds above. There are trees, a small church-like structure with a steeple on the horizon. In the foreground, a man is standing with a fishing rod near barrels. A river winds through the scene with people rowing a boat under a bridge and herding sheep. The bridge spans the image, adding to the scene's architecture. The foliage and trees are intricately detailed using fine-lined engravings. The color palette is monochromatic, mainly black, gray, and white.
