[1] The sculpture was Perls inventory number 13218, and was included in an exhibition of the dealer's acquisitions that was on view October and November 1982. See the checklist for the exhibition in Perls Galleries Records, 1937-1997, Archives of American Art, Smithsonian Institution, Washington (copy in NGA curatorial files).
