The image is an etching showing a scene with a horseman riding across a rugged landscape. The sky has thick, swirling clouds. The composition is monochromatic using shades of black and grey. Intricate sketches of figures and embellishments are present on the sides. There is high contrast between dark shadows and lighter elements in the image.
