The image shows an astronaut standing on a rocky landscape. The astronaut is in an upright position, slightly turned to the left, with one arm bent forward holding an unknown object and the other arm hanging by the side. The helmet reflects the scene in front of the astronaut. The astronaut is wearing a bulky, white space suit adorned with mission patches, and the helmet includes a gold-tinted visor. Tubes and equipment are visible on the suit as part of the life-support system, along with a U.S. flag patch on the upper arm. The background is a lunar landscape with a dark, airless sky above, and the light casting a long shadow of the astronaut on the cratered surface. Various footprints and equipment marks are visible on the dusty ground surrounding the astronaut.
