This painting shows two halves of a lemon with visible seeds and a center. Two green leaves and a short stem accompany the lemon halves. The lemon halves are placed side by side in the center of the image, with one half slightly angled towards the viewer. The background is brown, and the lemon halves cast dark shadows.
