The image shows sixteen oval portrait illustrations of individuals in side profile. Each portrait features a person facing right, displaying the left side of their face. The individuals have various hairstyles typical of the late 18th to early 19th centuries. Men wear formal attire with high collars and cravats, and the only female figure, "Miss Menard," wears a dress with short sleeves. The backgrounds are dark circles with light borders. The portraits are arranged in a grid with handwritten names below each on a brown paper background.
