This is a painting of a scene depicting a sudden event. The artwork portrays chaos with a wooden structure breaking apart on the right side. There is a burst of light emanating from the left side. In the center, two figures appear surprised or fearful, while another figure in the background gestures towards the scene. The painting uses a monochrome palette with shades of sepia, giving an aged, historical atmosphere to the scene.
