The sculpture is an embossed image on a circular medallion. The center features a woman kneeling down, with her right arm raised and her left arm around a child who stands beside her. In the foreground is the outline of a ram's head. Behind them are architectural elements including a castle with two towers on the left and two columns on the right. Above them are five small figures emerging from a cloud. The medallion is made of bronze, with figures raised against the background, creating depth and texture. At the bottom is the inscription "THE OLD WORLD 1939."
