This black-and-white photograph shows three individuals. On the right, a woman and child with light skin are seated together on a cushioned armchair. The woman has long, wavy blonde hair and wears a striped top and jeans, and the young child, seated partially on her lap, has short blonde hair and wears a long-sleeve shirt with suspenders and jeans. They look at us, with their bodies angled slightly to the right. On the left, an older woman with dark skin kneels on the floor beside them. She wears a white headscarf, a white, polka-dotted dress, and a light gray apron. She also looks out at us, her lips turned downward. The background features a living room setting, a small side table displaying framed photos and a lamp on the left, a television in the center, and stereo equipment on a shelf to the right. The wall behind the scene appears light gray with some framed photos hanging on it.
