The image depicts a woman from the waist up. She has delicate features, fair skin, and dark brown hair styled in a middle parting and held in a bun. She wears an off-the-shoulder black dress with a bow, a pink shawl on her left arm, and holds a folded fan in her right hand. A bracelet is on her right wrist, and a ring is on one of her left fingers. In the background, there is a cloudy sky with brownish foliage to the left and a vase of colorful flowers partially hidden behind a green curtain to the right, all painted in an impressionistic style.
