In the first / pair the hand delicately touches the hair at / the back of the neck and the arm is held more / closely in toward the body. In the next two, / the subjects' hands cradle or caress the hair / softly. A variant is illustrated in the third pair / where the pose is held at that point in time / when the fingers seem to be approaching the / hair in anticipation.
