The image shows a collection of sculptures in an ancient, partly ruined courtyard. A classical statue of a human figure is positioned atop a small staircase within an arched alcove. The statue is light in color and made of marble. Surrounding it are several secondary sculptures on pedestals. Sculpted head figures are mounted on columns at each side of the staircase. The setting includes weathered stone walls with remnants of plaster and faded frescoes. The statues are relatively small compared to the tall walls behind them.
