This is a photograph of the entrance to the First National Bank with a fence and sign on the sidewalk. The black-and-white image shows the entrance to the First National Bank, which features a brick facade with evenly spaced windows and decorative arch elements. Over the entrance, there is a sign that reads "First National Bank," and above the main door, two windows have curtains and a sign suggesting a dentist's office is on the upper floor. In front of the entrance on the sidewalk, a small fenced area with a white picket fence contains a sign urging the public to contribute aluminum for defense, with a patriotic message promoting the war effort. A classic streetlamp stands nearby on the sidewalk, casting its shadow on the pavement.
