This is a black-and-white photograph showing a close-up view of what appears to be an armadillo. Its head and snout are in the center of the image, and only one of its eyes is visible. The scaly texture of the skin on its head is clear. Its feet are up near its head, and their long claws are tilted downward. The ridges and scales of its shell and abdomen take up most of the rest of the image; behind it is a plain black background.
