The trees cast shadows on the path, creating a play of light and dark. The texture of the trees varies, from the feathery foliage to the rugged bark. The color scheme is monochromatic, in various shades of black, white, and gray. Light filters through the canopy above, illuminating the path. A single streetlamp is visible to the right.
