The image shows an engraved portrait of a man's upper half. He is positioned slightly turned to his right with his head facing forward. The man has a mature face with a mustache and shoulder-length wavy hair. He is dressed in a period-appropriate garment with a high collar and lace cravat. One hand is on his chest, and the other hand is visible at the bottom of the frame. The portrait is within an oval frame decorated with a leaf garland. The background has a fine texture, and below the portrait is a script inscription with the name "Artus Quellinius" and additional text.
