The image depicts a young woman in a mid-19th century style dress. She stands facing the camera with her head turned slightly. Her dark hair is styled in loops or braids on each side. She has a neutral expression and clasped hands at her waist. The dress has decorative trim, a high neckline, and pleated/lace details on the sleeves. The backdrop has a patterned floor and a floral drape to the right of the woman.
