The image is viewed from a leveled point of view, with the horizon line placed low, just above the bank of water. On the horizon, a line of trees and houses stretches across the scene. The art is characterized by intricate cross-hatching and fine lines in a monochromatic color palette of black and white. Close to us, figures are depicted along the bank, some standing, and others seated in the grassy area. In the distance, more structures and foliage blend with the tree line against the sky.
