The image is a landscape viewed from a slightly elevated position. The horizon line is in the upper third of the composition. A faint silhouette of a structure is visible against the sky. A solitary figure walks along a dirt path bordered by grass and tall, spindly trees. The trees are depicted with delicate lines suggesting movement. The ground is detailed with a mix of short and long strokes. The distant landscape shows light and shadow, enhancing the depth. The color palette is monochromatic in sepia tones. The etching technique with precise lines gives the artwork a detailed quality.
