Artist, Norwegian, 1863 - 1944

The image features bold, dark lines and shapes against a lighter background. The main element is a large rectangular form with a long arm and leg. Two oval shapes with facial features resembling human heads are above. One appears to smile while the other looks downward. There is also a disembodied hand reaching out from the edge. The texture and layering contribute to the abstract quality.
