A bowl is in the center containing a pear and an apple, with a smooth stone nearby on the table. It is a black and white image showing different shades of grey. The bowl of fruit is highlighted by light and shadow in the lower center of the image, and the stone is placed slightly to the right of the bowl. A small feather is also on the tabletop beside the stone.
