Two black and white photographs with arched tops both show a masted ship with full sails. They are mounted on a bright orange background. In each photograph the ship is on the horizon, which comes about halfway up the composition. Four or five long rowboats are gathered on a dark field closer to us. What first looks like ripping water at closer inspection could be fabric and props. The rowers’ clothing is touched with red.
