This is a photograph of a steam locomotive in a forested area. The image shows an old steam engine, labeled "SKAGIT VALLEY TRAIL," on wooden tracks. Large cut logs are stacked on the left side of the image. The steam locomotive features a prominent chimney stack and mechanical components typical of early 20th-century trains. The photograph has a sepia tone. The wooden planks and logs supporting the tracks form a rugged, utilitarian background typical of industrial activities in forested environments.
