The image shows a person seated in a semi-upright position. The individual has a serene expression with slightly arched eyebrows and a direct gaze. Her hair is styled away from her face, possibly held back by a decorative headpiece embellished with feathers and fabric ribbons. She wears a dark cape with a light-colored lace collar and a pink ribbon fastened at the neck by a circular brooch. Her dress, beneath the cape, features light-colored fabric with pleats. The person is shown holding a folded parasol and clutching a small bouquet of flowers in her left hand, while her right hand rests nearby, adorned with a beaded bracelet and a ring on her finger. The backdrop of the photograph is neutral. The image is framed with a richly ornate gold-toned border.
