The image is a sepia-toned photograph showing six individuals: four women and two children. The composition includes three women standing in the back and one woman seated in the front center, accompanied by two young girls on either side of her. The seated woman wears a high-necked dress with a lace collar, and her hair is tied back with a ribbon or bow. The two standing women on the right wear dark coats with hats, one of which features fur detailing. The woman on the left is dressed in a plaid patterned dress with puffed sleeves, and she has long, curled hair. The children, both girls, are dressed in light-colored dresses; one girl has a bow in her hair, whereas the other wears a cap. The girls stand on either side of the seated woman, and their expressions and poses are neutrally composed. The setting appears to be a studio with a plain backdrop. The bottom of the photograph is labeled "Wertheim, Imperial Studio, 21 E. Balto. St., Baltimore, Md."
