In this grayscale photograph, a cat lies on top of a small table covered with a patterned cloth. The cat is on its side, its head towards the right and its tail towards the left. Its eyes are closed. The photograph is an elongated octagon, and around its edges are some areas of dark brown and blueish discoloration. Around the photograph is a rectangular gold frame, and beyond that is a thin maroon border.
