She has a composed expression, dark hair neatly parted in the middle, and is wearing a patterned long-sleeved dress with a high collar and a light-colored apron over it. The surroundings include an ornately patterned fabric draped over a seating surface. The frame around the image is richly decorated with floral and scroll motifs. The background is plain.
