The image shows a group of boys and a few men posing for a photograph. The boys and men are standing or sitting closely together, with a few boys sitting in the front row. Most of the boys have short hair and are wearing various caps. They are dressed in dark suits or jackets with shirts, some wearing neckties or bow ties. Many of the boys are holding newspapers. An adult man in a suit and bowler hat stands behind them. In the background, there is a building with a sign that reads "The Brooklyn Eagle News." A telegraph pole is visible to the right of the group, and there are additional signs on the building including "We Give Golden Trading Stamp" and part of a circular sign with "5" visible. The area appears to be a paved city street location.
