The image shows a dense forest of twisted and leaning tree trunks. The horizon is not distinctly visible as the trees tightly fill the frame up to the edges. The intricate and precise brushstrokes capture the texture of the gnarled branches and sparse leaves. The color palette is a stark contrast of blacks, whites, and grays. The ground is covered with leaves and twigs, adding to the impression of an untamed environment. In the distance, the branches intertwine and stretch upwards, receding into a softly lit sky.
