This photograph shows a forest scene viewed from slightly above ground level. A massive tree trunk with rough, textured bark is prominent in the center. A person is measuring the circumference of the enormous trunk with a yellow measuring tape. The forest floor contains green foliage, plants, and small branches. In the background, tall trees with leaves form a canopy overhead. Light filters through the leaves, creating patterns on the greenery.
