The image displays a large old-fashioned lantern as its central object. It has a boxy metal frame with a glass front containing a visible candle inside. The lantern has a conical, ribbed top and an angled handle extending from its back. The color palette includes muted browns, greys, and yellows. The lantern is placed slightly towards the right side of the image, with its handle extending to the right and upwards, and the candle visible through the front glass panel.
