Two powder horns are depicted in the image. The top horn is positioned with its closed end on the right and the open end on the left, embellished with intricate carvings. The bottom horn overlaps the top one and also features detailed carvings, including a star on its open end. The color scheme is primarily earth tones such as beige, brown, and soft yellow, giving the horns a weathered look. They are centered on a plain off-white background, with the artist's signature "Annie E. Anderson" visible in the lower right corner.
