The image shows two engraved whale teeth. On the left tooth, there is an intricate drawing of a woman in a dress with layers, a large lace collar, and a bonnet. The woman on the right holds a flower and wears a striped dress with a fitted bodice. Both women are depicted from the waist up with detailed facial features. The background is plain, and the artist's signature, Ralph Marshall Wilbur, is visible in the bottom right corner of the image.
