The image shows a drawing of a large ornate casserole dish with a domed lid and ornamental handles on either side. The dish is centrally positioned within the frame, with a smaller inset illustration of the same object in the top left corner. The color palette is monochromatic, consisting of varying shades of gray. The dominantly neutral tones give a sense of metallic sheen and shadow. "G. Capelle" is the artist's signature, located near the bottom right corner.
