This is a painting of an eagle with a shield. The image shows a brown eagle with outstretched wings holding a shield adorned with stars and stripes. The eagle is perched on a blue sphere, surrounded by golden foliage, against a pale background. The feathers are detailed, conveying strength and majesty. The style is reminiscent of 19th-century American heraldic emblems.
