This is a painting of a Punch and Judy puppet. The puppet is presented in full view, adorned in a floral-patterned, loose-fitting costume with a high, pointy red hat. Its face is painted with bright, exaggerated makeup, including red cheeks and a wide, red-lipped smile. The eyes are large, outlined heavily to enhance their expressiveness. The puppet has red boxing gloves instead of hands. The background is a plain, off-white shade.
